Hailing from West London, Ellie Prohan, has fast cemented her name in the industry as a DJ, Presenter and Radio Host.
Immigrating to the UK from Iran at an early age, in a single parent family of Persian heritage, Ellie always knew she was to create her own path in life. In the face of obstacles, she hurdled every one and pursued her dream of becoming an International DJ as a queer, middle eastern woman.
As a passionate music lover, talented DJ and an advocate of women, intersectionality and marginalised communities, Ellie is now a leading name in the music industry.
Curating not only her Tuesday night Kiss FM show with the best of Drill & UK Rap – giving 28 new artists a week their first ever Kiss play – you can also hear Ellie live as one of the voices to The Apple Music 1 List show out of the London studios. The show brings The Apple Music’s 1 List playlist to life and showcases the world’s best new music, and her Kiss Fresh show from Monday to Wednesday, 7-9pm.
In addition to her radio work she also DJ’s across festivals internationally including, Reading & Leeds, Kisstory, Outlook Festival, Glastonbury, Flackstock, Wireless and Boardmasters.
She also hosted TikTok’s first ever LIVE UK Rap & culture show ‘Oi TikTok’ alongside creator Moyo.
